1. Click/touch an icon to select a tool.

2. Click/touch to select a value.

3. Click/touch to drop the selected value.

When the cursor is over a box, the cursor will change to the selected tool.
Click/touch and the selected value will be dropped into the box, overwriting what was thre before.
If you drop "Clear" the box will clear out.
